An Award Winning Pedigree

All of our adult Maltese dogs are DNA certified and AKC registered. We whelp all of our Maltese puppies in our home and raise them with lots of love and care. The pups are handled every day, several times per day. I teach them how to drink from a water bottle and allow them wean at their own pace.

Our Maltese puppies stay with their dam & litter mates until they are 12 weeks of age. The puppies are up to date on their vaccinations when they leave my home and include a pedigree, Eukanuba puppy pak, weight record & vaccine reminder. Puppies Are Handled Daily

I pet and stroke the puppies from the day they are born to get them used to hands being on their bodies. When you receive the Maltese puppy, they are calm and more relaxed because they have been handled and given personal love from the day they are born.

Our Puppies Love Being Groomed

I always give my Maltese puppies treats between each stage of grooming if I do it all at once, or after any grooming I do. Treats, kisses and lots of “good baby,” “good puppy” talk helps reassure the puppy and keep them calm.

About China Doll Maltese

I purchased “the love of my life” China Doll from Doug Larcher, and I will always be grateful to him for bringing this wonderful companion into my life. She is the namesake of my website, and she brings me more love than I can express. China Doll became a Champion in 2005 along with my boy Charmer, who I purchased from Carolyn Dahl.

I know showing and breeding is not for everyone, but it is a labor of love that I enjoy immensely. It is my goal to breed the best I can, and to help maintain the wonderful characteristics of the breed.
